USAF PATCH 1 SPECIAL OPERATIONS AIR OPERATIONS SQUADRON

The 1st Special Operations Air Operations Squadron integrates 1 SOW assets into special operations forces training events, supports United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM)-directed missions and executes tactical level command and control (C2) of all continental United States and deploying 1 SOW aircraft until transfered to supported organizations, agencies, or commands, in order to provide the 1 SOW commander unparalleled situational awareness; information for decisive action; and the ability to project Air Force Special Operations forces globally
